Africa faces a critical youth unemployment crisis, with around 60% of its youth either unemployed or underemployed,
as reported by the International Labour Organization (ILO). Each year, over 12 million young people enter the job market, but only about 3 million jobs are created, reflecting a significant gap that demands urgent action.

This is as a result of inadequate educational alignment with market needs. Many Africans are stuck in the informal sector, which offers little job security.
